|These are your hands after Angie|
When I found out that I would be confronting you for the first time, I admit I was downright nervous. After all, it isn't every day that one is challenged to complete 100 pull ups, 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, and 100 air squats, much less in order and with a 30 minute time cap.
I thought I could play it safe by breaking you up into 4 sets of 25 of each movement. It would mean that I would not Rx (Rx means you have to do un-banded pull ups, real push ups on your feet and not your knees, and that you have to complete all of the movements in order) but I was okay with that. But then, Coach Adam announced that everyone must complete Angie in order...Rx attempt it is!
Lucky for me I had Misty and Fynn on either side of me for pull ups. Even though all of our hands started ripping around pull up 30, and even though I wanted to use that band really badly around pull up 60, and even though my hands started to burn like fire every time I touched the bar around pull up 80, we all made it through by supporting each other and not letting anyone take the easy way out!
I got through your pull up section in about 15 minutes, and it got much easier after that. Even though push ups are hard, I knew I could make it through; I just had to keep moving and not let my time run out. Once the push ups were out of the way, I knew it would be smooth sailing as I completed all of my sit ups and squats without taking a break. Ooh-rah!
I completed the entire challenge in 25:07 which puts me in 4th place overall for women at the gym! So, I guess what I'm trying to say is, thank you Angie for making me fee like a total badass!
